Happy Thanksgiving! We wanted to share what we’re thankful for this holiday season.

Thanksgiving is full of traditions. Some include eating turkey, watching football, and decorating for Christmas. Our favorite tradition is sharing what we’re thankful for. We’re thankful for our teachers, who lead classes and create curriculum to help our students learn. We’re thankful for our tutors, who volunteer their time to mentor and guide our students as they work to achieve their goals. We’re thankful for our amazing students, who work very hard to make their dreams of reading better come true. And we’re thankful for our supporters, who make it possible for us to help change lives.

Literacy opens up doors of opportunity leading to independence, higher education, gainful employment, and better quality of life for our students. Your support helps our students learn to complete job applications, read prescription labels, help their children with homework, get driver’s licenses, and so much more. But don’t take our word for it! Watch as our students, teachers, and tutors share how The READ Center has impacted them.
