The 2024 Great Richmond Trivia Bee was an un-bee-lievable success!
Thank you to those who supported the Trivia Bee by purchasing a sponsorship, a team, a spectator ticket or a hint in the game! Also, thank you to those who made a donation for or during the event. Because of your generous contributions, the Trivia Bee raised $23,500 in net proceeds to fund READ’s literacy programs in the Richmond community. These funds will be able to cover the cost to run TWO adult literacy classes of 8-10 students for an entire academic year!! This means that approximately 20 of our Richmond area neighbors will be directly impacted by receiving a year’s worth of literacy curriculum at no cost to them, all thanks to YOU.
We are so grateful for the generosity of the community and the dedication that so many of you show to The READ Center through attending events, donating, volunteering your time, etc. We hope those of you who attended had a blast and will join us for the 2025 Trivia Bee, date TBD in April or early May!
