Adult Education and Family Literacy week ends tomorrow, but your support of adult literacy doesn’t have to.
It’s been a great week at The READ Center! Mayor Levar Stoney issued a proclamation. Students, tutors, and teachers wrote letters to Editor at the Richmond Times-Dispatch, two of which have been published (so far!). The Henrico Citizen published an article online. Dr. Andrew Daire, Dean of VCU’s School of Education, produced a video about AEFL Week.
Students have been sharing flyers about READ Center classes. Our Facebook page is buzzing with activity. Finally, our Read Between the Wines event was a rousing success.
